For the Lausanne Garden Festival 2019 two fellow students and I redesigned the existing lighting in the park Georgette. Due to the unusual fact that the park is located on an underground car park, we were inspired by cars when designing the lights. The lampshades were made of metal by lasering and rolling them into their final shape. Moreover there is a supporting structure welded to the inside. As a final step the lampshades were dyed with commercial car paints in cooperation with a car paint shop. The reflective car paint surfaces sets the nature in a new light.
